Credit: Library of CongressToday marks the 50th anniversary of the Freedom Riders monumental struggle for Civil Rights. The 2010 Sundance Film Festival opened last year with a documentary called Freedom Riders that will be airing tonight on PBS American Experience. Such a great, moving, emotional, and inspiring recollection of great american heroes and heroines who risked their lives to realize a better America for all.
